The CDC has issued a food safety alert regarding red, white, and yellow onions grown in Mexico and marketed by ProSource. ProSource has agreed to voluntarily recall onions with import dates from July 1 through August 27.
Peirone Produce has not purchased any onions from ProSource and is not involved in this recall
